JavaScript Job: Software Developer Intern

Job Description:

As a software developer intern at Track49, you will be part foa team responsible for developing, deploying and maintaining high-quality, scalable applications. We are currently hiring 3 new developers to work with clients in Insuretech and Fintech.

Technologies you will use:

• TypeScript/JavaScript
• VueJS
• ExpressJS
• MongoDB
• Ramda
• Cypress
• Ava

Deployment:

• Frontend deployed using Amazon S3 and Amazon Cloudfront
• Serverless backend using Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and MongoDB Atlas
• Auth using Amazon Cognito

Hybrid workplace:

• Combination of remote and in-office work
• Headquarters in Victoria, BC

Qualifications:

• Have completed 2nd year of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related degree
• OR equivalent, related experience

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with TypeScript/JavaScript software development
• Familiarity with developing web-based applications, JSON APIs, and serverless architectures
• Familiarity with Git, VSCode, NPM
• Functional programming experience or interest in learning
